Hello, my name is Johnel McGhee. I am a senior at Valdosta State University. I major in marketing where I want to pursue a career in the business field. I was born and raised in the city of Columbus, Ga. I love Columbus, but I also hate it at the same time. I love it because I have met some incredible people. I also hate it because the city is dangerous. Music is everything to me, I honestly don’t know if I would make it through my day without it. I also am a huge fan of LeBron James. He is the GOAT of basketball. I’ve actually been a fan since I was old enough to know who he was. Basketball is my second favorite sport. My first love will always be football. It hurt me to know that I had to cut my career short with me being diagnosed with sickle cell anemia. This happen to me around my 7th grade year. It was hard to adjust, but I had the support I needed to get through it. I had to find a different route that I wanted to do in life. I found that in fashion. I started collecting shoes. I have been doing so since 2012. This is one of the reasons I wanted a degree in marketing to possible work for Nike one day. I have other hobbies like: hanging out with friends, playing the game or going to the movies. I created this blog to showcase my talent of design work from my visual media class.
